My friend's husband is on his way here, but as soon as he gets here, he will be deployed, so my friend is staying where she is for the next school year. So, her hubby needs a place to stay for about 6 months. Does anyone know of a room for rent in the area or a cheap place for a single soldier to stay?

Whispering Hills is an apartment complex off of Gilmer. They do month to month and 6month leases and give discounts for soldiers. The other option I might suggest is finding a roomate off of craigslist. Good Luck!
