Here we go again
So here we go again! My 2 1/2 yr old girls have figured out that swinging from the curtains is a new form of entertainment... I mean why didn't I think of that? And it would almost be cute except for the fact that the curtain rod broke. Ugh! Another day with the Winkelman twins. What perplexes me is how they find new ways to trash their rooms. I keep removing toys and furniture and yet they still find a way to climb to trash their room. Ok so here's my question. What can I do differently? Any ideas or suggestions? It would be really great if someone would post a pic of their solution up here... I'm a great visual learner. Any takers?

You are so funny! I don't know what to say about the curtains...I think if the girls are that curious then they will find a way to "play" with whatever you put up(blinds, shorter curtains etc.) Anyways, as far as clothes and toys, my friend finally had to put the dresser in the closet and put a lock on it...by changing the door knob. I think she also went through all the toys and only kept the bigger/easier items, so it was a faster clean-up. I've even heard of people putting the toys in plastic bins and rotating them...so the toys seem new all over again! GOOD LUCK!
My sister does that- just brings out one bin of toys per week, and their play room stays much cleaner. To help with the dressers and curtains, my sister has her girls share a room, and then she has a room just for play and toys. It is completely child-proof, so she never needs to worry when they are in there. No curtains or decorations to be broken, just toys and kid stuff! Also, that way their bedroom stays clean, because they are only in there to sleep or get dressed.
